it is important to us that your initial consultation is free of charge. this is because the success of your therapy is so dependent on how comfortable you feel with your counsellor. we therefore want to give you the opportunity to meet with them, to make sure that you both feel confident that you will be able to work well together, before you begin to invest your time & your money

here at the Clearing we fully appreciate that sometimes things can crop up at the last minute & we realise on the odd occasion when something like that happens & you can't get to your session with us, it's normally not your fault. as we rarely have issues with clients not attending their appointments, it is not our policy to charge for cancellations, so please do not worry

o one hour initial consultation this will be free

o counselling £50 per hour

o psychotherapy £50 per hour

o supervision £35 per hour

o tutoring £35 per hour

if you have any questions around the financial aspects of therapy at the Clearing, please get in touch with us. payment is usually made at the start of your session either by cash or cheque

as parking in jesmond can sometimes be tricky, we provide parking permits for all our clients this way you can park here for free, at any time of the day or evening - just ask your therapist
