Why choose us?

Therapists at The Clearing get to work both flexibly & independently. If you join our team you will be free to work in whatever way you think will benefit your client for as long as the client needs.

We’ll do all of the work behind the scenes to get you the referrals that you need & you’ll be offered full administrative & supervisory support, as part of the Clinical Associate package.

Our rooms are all light, spacious & airy. They are designed with you & our clients in mind to create a calming, safe space in which the therapeutic process can unfold.

In joining The Clearing you’ll be joining a respected team of warm, professional & skilled practitioners who will be there to talk to, in between sessions, should you ever need support.

What kind of therapists we recruit

When recruiting we look for vibrant & enthusiastic individuals, who believe in the importance of therapy & are capable of both supportive here & now work, as well as deep, relational therapy.

To be considered for a post with us you must

  1. Hold a qualification that is recognised by the BACP, UKCP or HCPC
  2. Have experience of undertaking long term therapy with clients.
  3. Have engaged in your own personal long term therapy.
  4. Share in The Clearing’s ethos

That being said, the most important information that we listen to when recruiting is our gut instinct, so even if you don’t meet our criteria fully, apply anyway & let’s see what happens.
